Thanks for the additional samples. I'm not sure if the bold+ligatures issue is
the same, or a different one.
However, I tested with a recent daily build that has the new unified layout
engine enabled by default, and both the hyphenation (issue #1) and the
combination of bold+ligatures appear fixed (issues #2 aren't).
Please download a current daily build, and test with that.
