I noticed this defect: When adding a caption to a table (thereby discovering
that the table's context menu lacks "Add caption...") while "record changes"
was on, the list of tables has an extra space for that particular table when
the list of tables is updated.
When I finally commit the change, then refresh the list of tables, then the
extra space is gone!
Note that you cannot see any space in the caption of the table while the
problem is there, but there also is no change mark when adding a caption to a
table.
