            Bug ID: 104007
Summary: Libreoffice calc doesnt open / save txt files
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.2.3.2 rc
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

I have a .txt file that I want to open and edit in libreoffice calc. The file
contain data in table form using coma as separators.

I can open the file in calc with no trouble, and the table is read correctly by
calc. However, it doesn't save any changes. I want to save it as a .txt, so in
the save dialogue I am choosing the text formatting (instead of the libreoffice
extension) and apparently the save proceeds, however there are no changes made
to the file.

Note that saving the file in any other format seems to work ok, however I need
it in txt, but Calc cant handle that right now, it seems.
