Seems this never worked, but should work as expected.
Tested with OpenSUSE 42.1 64bit rpm Linux.
The button for background-color and also the button for font-color switch to
the chosen color when changing the color. After reopening both buttons have
been switched back to default-value.
Tested here with different versions - all the same. Seems to be introduced from
OOo. So I set the version to "Inherited from OOo".
