I'm running LibreOffice built from the 5.3 branch on Ubuntu 16.10.

I'm using the default 12-point font in both Writer and Math. When I insert
Math formulas into Writer, they are usually displayed in the same 12-point font
as the surrounding text, but unpredictably they sometimes appear smaller.
Here's one way to reproduce the problem:

1. Start Writer.
2. Press F12 to start a numbered list.
3. Choose Insert->Object->Formula, and enter the formula "X = Y".
4. Copy the formula and paste it 10 times into 10 successive lines in the list.

As you can see in the attached screenshot at 100% zoom, in most lines "X = Y"
is rendered in the correct 12-point font, but in lines 3 and 6 and 9 it is
smaller.

The rendering changes with the zoom level, however. If I zoom up to 120% then
all lines are rendered at the same size.
