Hello tommy27.
Without installing the latest version I already know the origin of this issue.
After try and error, I realized that I was having this incompatibility problem
only on files with text(s) copy-pasted from a .doc or .docx file.
When such texts were pasted without format the issue was gone.
My guess is that, since the text is "read" from top to bottom every time the
references are updated, these sections from other file extensions gave some
misreading mistakes.
Thanks for keeping an eye on this bug.
