Roman Eisele <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDINFO CC| |[email protected] Ever Confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from Roman Eisele <[email protected]> 2012-06-30 08:05:41 UTC --- Thank you very much for your bug report! However, I have some problems to reproduce it. To reproduce, I have saved the same 300ppi 24bit RGB TIFF file one time as JPEG file, one time as PNG file, and imported both into LibreOffice Writer; both appeared at the same size, and the Image dialog window reports their resolution as 300ppi, when the image size is set to 100%. For saving the images, I have used PhotoShop CS (yes, the very old version), and for testing LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 on MacOS X 10.6.8. Therefore, it seems that LibreOffice does not always ignore the resolution information in the PNG file header. We need to find out which images show this problem ... I want to ask you two questions: 1) Which application was used to save the PNG files you report about? 2) Could you attach one of the problematic PNG files as sample to this bug report, or, if they are not too large in size, put 2 or 3 ... into a ZIP file and attach this ZIP file to this bug report? If you could do so, I could try to reproduce the issue with your files. This would be very helpful, thank you in advance! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
