It still happens, see the first paragraph in comment 3 for details.
I checked a bit, and it seems Thesaurus is causing the stall (thanks for the
hint), but I didn't have the time to further experiment with it. What I did, I
tried earlier versions, and the stall happened when I entered that particular
submenu.
