             Bug #: 51650
Summary: EDITING: Impress freezes when adding text to an empty
                    manual broken line
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 3.5.3 release
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Presentation
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

When using manual line breaks (Shift+Return) and keeping a line in the end
empty, then deleting an other line and trying to edit the empty last line
(which my boss does :) ), LO/OOo freezes. CPU stays down.

Steps to reproduce:
 - Open a new (or saved) Impress document.
 - Edit the big text area (does not happen with the title) and enter: "asd"
Shift-Return "asd" Shift-Return" so you have 2 text lines and one empty line
 - Move the cursor to line 1, select and delete the line (Pos1, Shift+End, Del,
Del ... it won't happen when using Shift+Down, Del)
 - Move the cursor to the empty line in the end and press a letter.

Actual Results: Impress freezes (does nothing any more, not even repaint the
page when moved offscreen and back).

Expected Results: Text should appear on the empty line.

A linux strace shows the same as starting on the console:

*** glibc detected *** /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin: realloc():
invalid next size: 0x0000000002d1d630 ***
(The Hex value varies)

Obviously there's a problem with "<text:line-break/>" tags followed by an empty
<text:span text:style-name="T1"/> in the end when deleting a line before. Note
the / in the end.

OS: All, because the error could be reproduced under Ubuntu 12.04 (KDE, Unity
and E17), Windows 7 and Windows XP.

Reproduced under:

 - LibreOffice 3.5.3.2 Build-ID: 350m1(Build:2) Ubuntu 12.04 (current OpenJDK
and OracleJDK)
 - OpenOffice.org 3.2.1 OOO320m18 (Build:9502) Win7
 - LibreOffice 3.5.? Win XP
