Your grasping is an error. It is simply a question of the amount of developers
vs. amount of bugs.

See the graph for NEW bugs:
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/reports.cgi?product_id=109&datasets=NEW

If you subtract the couple of thousand feature requests and the several hundred
meta bugs + easy hacks, you get somewhere between 8000-9000 bugs.

As we get something like 600-900 reports pouring in per month, the situation
CANNOT be because of "interest".

So please continue filing the interop bugs.

I understand you are annoyed by the mass pinging comments, but they do have the
intended effect of cleaning the bug tracker. Every time there are many reports
turning out to be WORKSFORME (fixed without knowing the fixing commit, possibly
duplicates).

Note that you can set an email filter that looks for the text
MassPing-UntouchedBug in the body of the email and throws it straight into the
trash can.

I do confirm the original report with a fresh master build.
