I hope this clarifies things for you. I'm not a programmer, I just know the
procedures I posted above work every time. Whether this is a PATH statement
problem or something else, I just got it to work repeatedly using this method
on a MAC OS 10.12.2 and LO version 5.3.4.2. I've seen other reports where
someone mentioned a similar problem, but I think they were using Windows. They
talk about changing their User Profile, disabling a "Switch" or a problem with
a GPU Graphics card.
I don't have any of these things on my MacBook Pro 2010.
