I cannot reproduce any of this.
How exactly is it happening? Open the context menu, click outside of it and
then you are seeing the residual crap outside the LibreOffice window? Or are
you somehow able to close the spreadsheet while the context menu is open?

If I click the close button, it simply closes the context menu and doesn't even
try to close LibreOffice.

Please also copy & paste here the contents of your Help - About window. Just
want to check, if you have OpenGL rendering enabled.
