The bug lists provided on the release notes for RC2 does NOT include this bug,
which is a big problem: it seems that LibO 5.3 will be released with this quite
evident and critical bug, a bug that can lead to data loss (see my previous
comment), a bug that was reported on the pre alphas.
IMO any bug like this one should be considered a "release stopper".
