The fact is that this bug is more than five years old. And during this five
years, more and more user where enabled to use impress.
Of course, there where a workaround. Disabling HW acceleration. But if you do
that, all your animations sucks. So no animations, just appear, disappear.

And there are other examples, with little bugs, but high quality impact.
Especially with Impress. Impress is often used in front of public. Any quality
bug will have a big impact on public feeling.
That's my case, I often have impress problems, and as it happens, public learn
something more than my teaching. LO is cheap yeah, but it's a low quality
software.

And this have nothing to do with devs's work.

Of course there are doing great job. But they don't care about little bugs with
hight quality impact. They are just little bugs. This is mostly a fact than a
point of view (as I can show you many bugs of this kind especially with
impress).
They don't care about it, because it is their choice, and they have limited
resources.
