--- Comment #2 from Dirk W. <[email protected]> ---
Timur,
I have downloaded the „Seperate Install GUI“ and installed LO 5.3.0.3 parallel
as x32 and x64 in Win8.1-x64-Home. Result: x64 has the same error like
yesterday, but in Safe Mode it’s possible to start. x32 says „The program could
get started, because MSVCR120.dll is failing…“. I reran the installation of x32
but the error message persists.
I have downloaded the two LO’s here:
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/5.3.0.3/win/
Then I installed LO 5.3.0.3-x32 in Vista-Business-x32: No problem.
Then I installed LO 5.3.0.3-x32 in Win8.1-Home-x32: If you run LO-Writer
immediately, then this message pops out: „LibreOffice not working anymore.“ But
if you run first Safe-Mode and then normal mode, LO runs every time.
Then I installed LO 5.3.0.3-x32 in Win8.1-Home-x64: If you run LO-Writer
immediately, then this message pops out: „LibreOffice not working anymore.“ But
if you run first Safe-Mode and then normal mode, LO runs every time.
Then I installed LO 5.3.0.3-x64 in Win8.1-Home-x64: If you run LO-Writer
nothing happens. It’s only possible to run LO in Safe-Mode every time, but
never in real mode.
Then I installed LO 5.3.0.3-x32 in Win10-Pro-x64: If you run LO-Writer
immediately, then this message pops out: „LibreOffice not working anymore.“ But
if you run first Safe-Mode and then normal mode, LO runs every time.
Then I installed LO 5.3.0.3-x64 in Win10-Pro-x64: If you run LO-Writer nothing
happens. It’s only possible to run LO in Safe-Mode every time, but never in
real mode.
Note: all trials went in VirtualBox. I use allways CleanInstalls (with all
Updates) which I import allways new, if I try out new programs etc.
