I uninstalled my package maintainer's version and installed the latest *.deb
collection from the LibreOffice website. That version defaults to using the
native OS's (XFCE4 in my case) dialogs. The preferences option to switch to
LibreOffice's internal dialogs is available in this version, unlike the package
maintainer's.
