I tried the portable version from portableapps.com It the version 5.3.0.3. I
choose the portable version since I can try on different systems with identical
software.
on my laptop the software is running
on my desktop it still shows the same symptoms.
Both run windows 10 Pro with all updates installed, checked twice.
I did some deeper research.
Dependency Walker lists a lot of unsolved reference and the unsolved list of
references are not identical. Most of them look like 'API-MS-WIN-APPMODEL...'
I also tried the option with safe mode. No difference even in case disabling
all user settings.
Any helo would be appreciated. Shall I run process monitor?
Since I can write in the .TXT format, I don't believe it is a security issue.
