Ok, it seems the crash reporter does not work when killing a hanging process
via Windows task manager. I tried it myself.
zahra: in version 5.3 there is a new feature called Safe Mode. Help - Restart
in Safe Mode and then "Continue in Safe Mode" will allow you to try it. If you
can use version 5.3, you could give it a shot with your file opening problem.
