Unfortunately, there's no obvious way to reproduce it.
I had a document open (a resume). I open a new blank document in another tab,
and started editing; then changed my mind, closed it, and opened another new
blank document. I did that a 2nd time, and perhaps a 3rd. Then, in the new
blank document, I pasted a bit of text from a web page -- and Writer crashed.
After recovery, I proceeded to create and save my new document without
incident.
