Maybe it'll help if I add a step-by-step description of how to reproduce:
1. Open a new Document in LibreOffice Writer
2. Click "Insert" > "Image" (filepicker opens)
3. Go to the top directory of your hard drive (or a similar big folder that
takes long enough to search)
4. Type some text in the search box in the top right corner (maybe something
random, crash happens only when no items get displayed and it is still
searching).
5. Click cancel while it is still looking for files and hasn't found something
yet, otherwise crash won't happen.
(6.) (It looks like the cursor moves a bit to the right, like a TAB, but I'm
not sure about that)
--> Crash
If you still can't reproduce, maybe your version/OS is not affected(?), I'm on
Windows 10 using the version I selected above in the bug report.
