I'm sorry that the new version don't resolve the problem for you ... it's a strange affair, for me PDF export works equally well on MacOS and Windows XP. @Rainer: This nasty bug seems to depend on some special circumstances (Windows version? Windows configuration? fonts?), but I don't know enough about Windows to figure out what's the problem or just to ask the right questions -- you have much Windows experience, can you help?
