--- Comment #6 from Mark Bourne <[email protected]> ---
I should have mentioned, in case anyone else comes across this and thinks it's
a workaround, I would not advocate manually editing registrymodifications.xcu
as described in Comment 5; that was more a way of narrowing down where the
problem might be in the profile. I have no idea what other effects modifying
that line might have!
Interestingly, if I close LibreOffice, delete the whole line I noted and
restart, the line gets recreated with the problematic item:
<it>com.sun.star.presentation.PresentationDocument, DrawPage, visible,
.uno:PageSetup</it>
but also two others:
<it>com.sun.star.drawing.DrawingDocument, MasterPage, visible,
.uno:PageSetup</it>
<it>com.sun.star.presentation.PresentationDocument, MasterPage, visible,
.uno:PageSetup</it>
and the crash does not occur.
So it seems it is the presence of the first entry without one or both of the
others which leads to a crash.
Given that the sidebar is relatively new and evolving, I do wonder whether the
crash results from a profile created in an older version not being quite
compatible with the newer version, and not being converted.
