(In reply to comment #1) > what do you mean with "drag a snap line out of the ruler"? If you remove a > snap > line out of the ruler, you remove it out of your document No, if you do that you move an (existing) snap line to/into the ruler - and delete it. I am doing the opposite: I want to create a snap line. Maybe the following is clearer. Variant A: ----------------------------- * Right (mouse) click, and choose "Insert Snap Point/Line...". There, create a vertical snap object at position "-1.00 cm". Expected: A snap line is created at that position, which is by default 1cm left of the left page edge (grey background). Result: No snap line is created. ----------------------------- Variant A: ----------------------------- * Create a snap line by clicking on the ruler, keeping the mouse pressed and and dragging a snap line out of the rule. Place it in the gray area left [or top] of the page (or more precisely: at negative coordinates). Result: The snap line is properly created, but right (mouse) clicking on it and choosing "Edit Snap Line..." shows "0.00" as coordinate instead of the expected, e.g. "-1.24cm". ----------------------------- The problem seems to be that the Edit Snap Line and Insert Snap Point/Line dialogs only handle nonnegative coordinates while in reality negative coordinates can occur. (Especially if the coordinate origin is moved from the top left page corner.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
