I also see this on 5.3.0.3 on openSUSE 13.1. Worked fine before with 5.2.2.2.
My xdpyinfo output lists
resolution: 143x144 dots per inch
Could this be an issue?
I know that e.g. firefox tries to be smart and scales up its UI on "high
resolution" displays (> 72 dpi?). There, I need to set
layout.css.devPixelsPerPx = 1
in order to get back to 1:1 scaling prevent pixelated icons and overall space
waste.
