Hello Xisco,
I deinstalled the 5.1.6.2 and installed the newer one 5.2.6.2. The test file
seems to work much better with this.
I also tested with 3 jpg. No hang as before - but still it takes quite an
amount of time loading the pictures.
It seems to be that LO each time loads the full picture and not a smaller place
holder instead of it. I just do not know if this is intended to perform this
way or if it may be an improvement using smaller placeholders instead which
also may be stored in the odt file.
