I can confirm this still affects:
Version: 5.3.0.3

CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: Linux 4.8; UI Render: default; VCL: x11; Layout
Engine: new;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group
when used with our same RHEL6 print stack.
I also discovered that the per-document printer language setting
(Print->Properties->Device->Printer language type) is now completely ignored
and reverted to global default (Tools->Options->LibreOffice->Print->PDF as
standard print job format) as soon as you click ok. But that's another bug.
