So...
corrected my SDK env to point to my LibreOfficeDev5400 alpha master build and
to a more recent Java JDK (8_112)
attempted rebuild of MessageBox.run
now, I get an error in :
"/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.8.0_112.jdk/Contents/home/bin/jar" uvf
/users/alex/LibreOffice5.4_SDK/MACOSXexample.out/class/GUIExamples/MessageBox.jar
