Is there anything in the BASIC parser which _warns_ about syntax errors, like
missing parentheses, short of throwing an error and making the Extension fail?
It would be good to have a middle ground: a warning which the Extension
developer can see, letting them know there's a problem to fix, while not
breaking the Extension for all its users. Contrariwise, if the BASIC parser
without this patch does NOT complain, does it mean that the syntax is actually
correct, and will continue to work even with a stricter parser?
