            Bug ID: 106775
Summary: Nko script missing from CTL complex scripts/RTL list
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 4.0.0.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Linguistic
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
this is an Enhancement request
In Linguistic options/language, for "Complex scripts", the list mentions Hindi
(default here), Arabic (several countries). It should also mention N'ko :
See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N%27Ko_alphabet

I am currently about to release a spell-checker for Maninka (a West African
language, mainly spoken in Guinea).
This language is written in the N'ko script, which is a Right-to-left alphabet

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Tools/Options
2.Linguistic settings (in French: Paramètres linguistiques)
3.Languages (in French : Langues)
for Default document languages, check complex script (CTL) (in French: Mise en
page de texte complexe)

Actual Results:
Current Result : the drop-down list in front of the checkbox does not mention
N'ko

Expected Results:
the drop-down list should mention N'ko
mentionning countries in brackets is not required, but if is technically
compulsory, countries directly involved : Guinea, Mali, Ivory Coast, Burkina
Faso...

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Currently, it is possible to leave the default (Hindi) or choose any language.

The spell-checker will still works : this is specified in the spell-checker's
dictionaries.xcu file :"nqo-GN" (official for N'ko - Guinea) :
<prop oor:name="Locales" oor:type="oor:string-list">
        <value>nqo-GN</value>
</prop>

and the list displayed in Format/character for "complex script font / language"
will show "N'ko" and the green checked sign showing availability of my spell
checker. This is enough for testing the spell-checker (it works!). But:...

Unfortunately it is very misleading - if not offensive - for local user to give
them instructions where they should leave Hindi or choose Arabic or whatever in
the Linguistic settings of their Libre Office.
