Please provide screen clips of the issue(s), and full details of OS and locale.
Also knowing the fonts you are working with--both system and application--is
helpful.
Font management has been reworked at the 5.3 releases--please retest with
current 5.3.2 in pre-release, or the 5.3.1 release.
