            Bug ID: 106824
Summary: Flat Checkboxes not displayed on screen
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.3.0.1 rc
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Changing checkbox style to flat makes the box symbol (and the X if checked)
disappear on screen. Printing is not affected, i.e. the flat box is printed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a checkbox to a Writer document or a Base form
2. Change checkbox style to flat

Actual Results:
Box and content disappear

Expected Results:
Flat checkbox should be drawn on screen

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Ubuntu 16.04, KDE5, Libreoffice from PPA and TDF packages affected.

My first thought was the new text layout engine, but setting
SAL_NO_COMMON_LAYOUT=1 does not help.

I plan to bibisect when my time permits.
