            Bug ID: 106851
           Summary: Redesign the libreoffice icon
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: UI
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

There used to be a good icon some time ago but then it changed to the current
icon which looks like "generic file" or "broken icon".

Current icon:

Very similar to generic OS icon:

Every time I see libreoffice writer icon I am confused, I always think for a
fraction of second that something broke in my system and it is unable to find
the icon or it can't render the original icon properly. Once I was trying to
find a running libreoffice window in my dock and I was subconsciously skipping
this icon.

Why not make a new icon or at least modify the current one and place SOMETHING
inside this blank page?
