Patch that needs more work
Actually, just after writing that, I had an idea what might fix it, and it
worked. The patch needs some more work, though; presumably we can't call
epoxy_handle_external_wglMakeCurrent() unconditionally like that, but need to
do it only if we are actually using OpenGL.
