Well, I don't know what happened, or why. But the software is working again.
Maybe this is because I installed the software from the site instead of using
the Libre Office Vanilla App, which is available from the Mac App store.
Maybe it works now since my iMac went to sleep last night. Who knows.
Please consider this bug as solved and thank you for your effort and time.
