Not reproducible in version 5.3.2 if the selected cells are in the same row.
But if the selected cells are in a column, the problem still occurs.
Tested with LO 5.3.2 provided by Ubuntu. Same behavior with LO 5.3.4.0.0+ built
at home under Ubuntu 16-04 x86-64.
