When I tried to create a simplified version of my database, I found I could not
reproduce my problem.
Re-examining my original database, I discovered that, probably quite a long
time ago, the relevant columns had been marked as Hidden when displaying tables
in Table View. By selecting "Show All", all columns were correctly displayed,
so there was no fault - apologies if I wasted a lot of your time.
