Seems consistent that with gtk3 it crashes every time. with gtk (gtk2) i can't
make it crash even after many inserted formula.
I can't reproduce with
[3d9a8b4b4e538a85e0782bd6c2d430bafe583448] Version 5.3.3.2, tag
libreoffice-5.3.3.2
so have started bisecting.
