thanks for further details.
If you use Ctrl+H, then under Options you can choose if search must be in
values, notes, or formulas.
There is an issue already for a setting to adapt this, if the user wishes:
Bug 102506 - Find Bar Ctrl+F (search of Cells in Calc): add Expert
configuration option to set search for cell Values in stead of Formulas
