Peter, it seems there was some confusion regarding your dock icons. To solve
this, just right click the icon with the question-mark and select "remove from
dock".
I'd close this as worksforme, since I think this is rather a macOS issue than a
LibreOffice issue.
If you run into this again, feel free to file another report.
