Hey,
so I removed the test runners in current cppunit master and 1.14.0 as they were
mostly unmaintained.
I think your analysis is correct and these should be changed. I currently don't
plan to release another cppunit 1.13 version but if you want I can push a fix
to the repository. You would need to create your own tarball for using the
version.
