thank you very much for your enhancement request!

But I have a question.
We have already a similar feature in LibreOffice draw. When some objects are
selected, I can select "Zoom..." from the menu "View", or double-click the zoom
factor shown in the bottom-right of the document window. In both ways I can
open the dialog window "Zoom and View Layout". If I select "Optimal" here (in
the "Zoom factor" section at the left of the window) and then click "OK", Draw
automatically changes the zoom factor so that the selected objects fill the
viewport.

Now my question: does this existing function not meet your needs, and if yes,
why? We need to understand what would be the difference between the new
function you request and this existing "Optiomal" zoom factor, so please
explain this.
