When automatic spell checking is enabled, there's a 2-3 s lag when you start
typing, when the spell/grammar checker is loaded.
It would be great to trigger this loading in a separate thread right when the
application is opened (provided the setting is on), so there's no annoying
stutter when the user starts typing.
