Please always copy and paste the info from Help - About so we know more about
your system. Using Snap might also affect this.
You now have the option to test new releases as AppImages:
http://libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com/index.php/pre-releases/
After download you can just right-click the file, set as executable and then
double-click to run it.
Does 5.4 beta2 still show the problem?
