Thanks for the very comprehensive explanation, and the workaround of adjusting
the bitmap.
However I don't agree with your opposition to the change on the basis that it
adds complexity - because the option to choose XY coordinates already exists
with the Tiling option, and even appears greyed-out in the other styles.
Refusing my requested option makes it more complex, as it involves messing
around with the bitmap.
It is your call of course, but it remains a problem and shouldn't be classed as
RESOLVED.
