UI already behaves that way.
The <alt> is just needed to show the accelerators in the menus/dialogs, but
believe the action will apply without toggling it visible.
That is, just enter "d" for the dont' save following the <Ctrl>+w, verified it
works that way on Windows builds.
Also, as the accelerators are localized, the actual key to enter can differ by
locale of the UI.
