Problem description: libreoffice doesn't respond for several minutes
Steps to reproduce:
1. make a fresh user, or remove ~/.libreoffice
2. launch soffice
3. choose text document
4. menu: format->page
5. click page tab
Current behavior: libreoffice doesn't respond for several minutes
Expected behavior: response a bit sooner
Platform (if different from the browser): ubuntu natty, packages up to date as
of 2012/8/1 14:46 CDT
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:8.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0.1
