I have downloaded the latest version. I followed the link you sent, then
clicked on 'LibreOffice Viewer for Android' under the 'Download' menu on the
right. I then clicked the link to 'download the plain apk' from where I got
this:

NB: Replicant does not support play store and I already had the latest version
from f-droid.
The above I sideloaded onto my phone, installed and tried again...
Still broken! Exactly the same problem as before. File manager within
LibreOffice Viewer works. But when I try to open a file, it says
'Unfortunately, LibreOffice Viewer has stopped' and the app closes.
