The crash continues to occur, but inconsistently. I have not determined what
condition or previous event induces it. It can be corrected by deleting the
user profile, but it keeps coming back after anywhere from a day to a few
weeks.
I've got a script to clear the profile and put my own templates back, but that
leaves the problem in place.
