Hello Aron.
I have resolved Cache corruption issue in the bug report: tdf#89139.
It should now works fine in LibreoOffice 6.0. I'm closing this bug as fixed.
Please test different pivots, and let me know if it is working correctly.
If you find other corruption issues with pivot, please attach sample to bug
report tdf#89139
