Just some notes on what I was doing, could not reproduce.
Had a file open with edits and Track Changes and Record and Show on.
Selected about 10% of the file by doing a Shift+Ctrl+Home.
Did Edit, Track Changes and turned off Record.
Did Edit, Track Changes and turned off Tracking.
Crashed.
